The Smurfs 2 is a sequel to the 2011's animated 3D film 'The Smurfs' (released on July 29th, 2011), both films based on the comic book series 'The Smurfs' by Peyo, The films follow The Smurfs trilogy, it's second part from this series.
Both films directed by Raja Gosnell and produced by Jordan Kerner, The Smurfs 2 film screenplay by J. David Stem, David N. Weiss, Karey Kirkpatrick, Jay Scherick and David Ronn. The Smurfs 2 is great animated-Comedy-Family film.
The film stars including for live action Brendan Gleeson plays Patrick's stepfather as Victor Doyle, Nancy O'Dell plays a television interviewer as herself, Hank Azaria as Gargamel, Neil Patrick Harris as Patrick Winslow, Jayma Mays as Grace Winslow and Sofía Vergara as Odile Anjelou.
And other star cast inlcuding for voice Jonathan Winters as Papa Smurf, Katy Perry as Smurfette, Fred Armisen as Brainy Smurf, Alan Cumming as Gutsy Smurf, Anton Yelchin as Clumsy Smurf, George Lopez as Grouchy Smurf, John Oliver as Vanity Smurf, Christina Ricci as Vexy and J. B. Smoove as Hackus.

Official Synopsis
In this sequel to the hybrid live action/animated family blockbuster comedy The Smurfs, the evil wizard Gargamel creates a couple of mischievous Smurf-like creatures called the Naughties that he hopes will let him harness the all-powerful, magical Smurf-essence. But when he discovers that only a real Smurf can give him what he wants — and only a secret spell that Smurfette knows can turn the Naughties into real Smurfs — Gargamel kidnaps Smurfette and brings her to Paris, where he has been winning the adoration of millions as the world’s greatest sorcerer. It's up to Papa, Clumsy, Grouchy, and Vanity to return to our world, reunite with their human friends Patrick and Grace Winslow, and rescue her! Will Smurfette, who has always felt different from the other Smurfs, find a new connection with the Naughties Vexy and Hackus – or will the Smurfs convince her that their love for her is True Blue?
