Dragon(original title: Wu xia) is a 2011's action and adventure Asian movie and the remake of 2005's David Cronenberg's action crime film 'A History of Violence'. A History of Violence is also nominated of 2005 Oscar awards for two category, directed by Peter Ho-Sun Chan and written by Oi Wah Lam and produced by Peter Chan. The film starring Donnie Yen (best know in world for Ip man film series, Hero, Blade-II), Takeshi Kaneshiro (best known for Red Cliff film series), Wei Tang,Yu Wang, Kara Hui, Wu Jiang, Hua Yan, Yu Kang, Kenji Tanigaki and Xiao Ran Li.
Dragon film follow the story of 'A sinful martial arts expert wants to start a new tranquil life, only to be hunted by a determined detective and his former master.'

Dragon film won overall six national awards which is - won Asian Film Award at 2012 Asian Film Awards for Best Cinematographer by Jake Pollock and Yiu-Fai Lai; and for Best Composer by Peter Kam, Chatchai Pongprapaphan and Kwong Wing Chan; and for Best Production Designer Chung Man Yee and Li Sun; and for Best Visual Effects by Kwok-yin Yung and Andy Kang. And this movie also won Action Asia Award at 2012 Deauville Asian Film Festival; won Hong Kong Film Award at 2012 Hong Kong Film Awards for film's different category; And the film also nominated 13 more awards in Film Festival.
